Exactly…I cannot understand this new strategy, and I can only conclude that the Govt of Mizoram has failed its people through corruption and bad planning.

In the past, it was easy to blame the Central Govt and revolt against it – now now – the same rebels are doing the same, failing their own people. Zahthlak lutuk…

Finally, someone is learning about ‘Disaster Management’! But my question are:
1. Has the Mizoram Government not got enough from the Central Govt to manage the listed disasters already? Do we not have funds for Disaster Relief?

2. Why are we asking for help when we know( and knew) that this is going(and is) our problem?

What was the old saying we have in Mizo an equivalent in English – Closing the stable door after the horses have escaped – Se bo hnu a khawngkhar…forgive me for my mistake in Mizo…
