What are you talking about, my friend, any PR executive in the private sector will tell you this is brilliant PR!

Plus, some of us got the “information” we needed, so we’re happy. lolz

Jokes aside, hey, it’s not like the entire DIPR website is covered by these models. There are other pretty useful information available there too, and this model section just happens to be a small part of that. If these pics have the most number of visits, is it the DIPR’s fault or the visitor’s fault?

Moreover, all these and other seductive models can be hired easily if you want to squander tax payers money. Except that the Department of Misinformation and PR may have to pay for their air tickets (mind you, these babes do not fly economy class) and other travel costs, apart from their fees. (did i mispelled somewhere ?)

Posting pics of sexy women is not the responsibilities of Information and PR Department. Their responsibility is to make the government looks better. The government whose image they are supposed to promote does not exactly enjoy excellent prestige. For example, Information and PR Department must convince the people of Mizoram:

1. That Rs. 550 crore or so grant received from the Central Government under BAFFACOS has been used effectively;
2. That Toilet vans purchased at enormous cost was really good for public health;
3. That huge allocation for Referral Hospital was utilised carefully and not a single Rupee was wasted;
4. That the Government version that the late Rev. Chanchinmawia committed suicide was truly convincing;
5. That thousands of teachers posted to far away villages were absent and enjoy full salaries in Aizawl for good reason;
6. That Ministers, MLAs and government servants truly deserve the big pay packages and long holidays;
7. That promised sports stadium was not built due to valid reasons, and has nothing to do with mismanagement of sports department;
8. That people of Mizoram has no reason to believe that MNF party used insurgents for 2003 assembly elections;
and many many other issues where Mizo people have serious doubts about the government’s claims.
Posting of sexy, semi naked women in their website may not fully portray the state government’s image towards those objectives.
