Rock Gods Metallica have released their first single from their much anticipated album ‘Death Magnetic’ dubbed ‘The Day That Never Comes’ - It is reportedly their most downbeat track of the album and is said to be reminiscent of their epic breakthrough single ‘One’.

It has garnered immediate attention once again proving they are undisputedly fan favourites and why people respect and worship them as  Rock GODS.

It debuted at No.7 on the mainstream rock tracks and a week later moved up to No.2 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks, It is all set to takeover the No.1 spot this Saturday giving the Legendary Band their sixth single to be at the top on the Mainstream Rock charts a record which very few Bands in the history of Rock ‘n’ Roll can boast about.

‘The Day That Never Comes’ is currently No.1 in nearly fifteen to twenty Countries Worldwide.

ROCK GODS???. I beg to differ, though Metallica has been commercially successful, but in a purely musical point of view their comtemporary and
rival Megadeth has consistently produced better albums, (not that i hate them of course).
There has only been one ROCK GOD, and that Band is Led Zeppelin

I agree that Megadeth is more consistent in producing good music. And as far as technical proficiency goes, Metallica is way behind. One reason being the many lineup changes that Megadeth had gone through, and every new member bringing in something new to the band.

But Metallica’s catchy and easy to follow tunes plus James Hetfield’s thunderous voice would naturally have more appeal to the general mass.

Hey 3D-Lover i’m a fan of Led Zeppelin too and yes undoubetdly they are the greatest Rock Band in History.

But Metallica are also considered ‘GODS’ in their own right.

Go to youtube and watch Metallica ‘Enter Sandman’ Live in Moscow Monsters of Rock, and looking at the number of people who have attended it you will understand.

St.Anger may have been an Album which did not make a statement ( I prefer not make a statement rather than call it a flop) but they still continued to gross over $45 Million a year only in concert revenues imagine the various endorsements………. Taking that into account they were generating $80-120 Million every year.

Besides here’s a little something for you guys to know……………..

Rock God ‘James Hetfield’ is officially the richest musician in the history of Music with a personal net worth of $1.4 Billion and rising.
($1.4 Billion which makes him richer than even Donald Trump)

He owns a real estate company and co-owns one of the world’s leading Cigar company.

    It’s true google it.

Similarly the other band members noticeably metallica co-Founder and drummer ‘Lars Ulrich’.

He stole Hollywood superstar Matt Damon’s girlfriend ‘Connie Nielsen’ from him and has a son with her.

One of the main reasons for Connie Nielsen leaving Matt is that Lars is far………far………..far…… more richer and famous than Matt Damon.
And we are talking bout Matt Damon here a Hollywood heavyweight and one of the highest paid actors of all time.

It’s true Matt Damon himself said it in an interview with Playboy.
