we started flicking through the pages of magazines…US edition of Cosmopolitan, UK edition, Indian Edition…Tatler…Elle…even GQ :D….
Gosh…”I need a new jacket..all my jackets are last winters wardrobe, hell…i need a new shoe…heels or boots..?….pants…what kind of pants…smart pants or jeans…
they never make jeans pants in our size…we’ll have to get it altered…and the smart pants…itz all stiched according to ‘vai pian’…high hips etc…the smart pants in our size are all too costly, we can’t afford it…why dont we get it stiched?…but those people also can’t stich it dat well…gosh…how i miss aizawl…da tailors are so good…
wat about da top to wear beneath da jacket…shit!..i dont haf dat either…
accesories…?…earring?…hoops?….studs?….any chain on da neck…?
…from wherz da money for all dat gonna come…?….”

but i bet no Mizo will disagree if i say ‘we Mizo’s are high on fashion’…and itz a bit embarassing to be so badly dressed in a Mizo function…

What to wear (Men):
1) Underpant [optional]
2) Pant
3) T-shirt
4) socks
What to wear (Women):
1) Panty (and whatever is necessary inside depending the time of the cyle)

2) Brasier, should preferably match the color of 1
3) Skirt/Jeans: Looks good in jeans but skirt offers a lot of convenience. The color of 1 strictly depends on the color and material of 3 is 3 is a skirt. For white skirt, it is desirable that 1 is skin color unless you want to show the boundary line
4) T-Shirt/Shirt. If you shirt has wide open opening on the top , you can’t lean in front of men unless you want to show your boobs. For the same reason, if your t-shirt doesn’t properly cover your waist, you can’t sit on the floor, you can’t lean forward. A combination of this with G-String as 1 is worse. I am really tired of seeing girls pulling their t-shirt down every now and then.
