MNF, MCP to abstain from voting

How come there is no comment in this topic even after 12 hours. Where are tha “Thalai Ram vei tu te”. MLA Abstaining from Voting for the President means lakhs of People not voting for the First Citizen of India. This i believe is not Democracy. You mar argue that even for MLA election the vote % is not very high, but you cant compare that with Presidential Election. If a citizen decline to vote for his MLA its his wish, but MLA not voting means that he have taken away the “Right to vote” of all the voters that he represent in his/her constituency.
Is this MNF Politics of playing “safe” in the Central Politics.
