Nope.
Per 2001 census
Mizoram — Population: 888,573
https://www.google.co.in/search.....re-sources
888 573 / 500 = 1 777.146
So there 1777.146 missionaries from Mizoram.

Don’t you think it is oxymoronic that the most corrupt state in India and probably the world shamelessly bragging about how many gospel missionaries it sent to other areas? A state where racist violence is the favourite past time of the student organisation, a state where churches are built with dirty money stolen from the government, a state where the church leaders have so many conflict of interest between their job and their responsibilities and duties as a church elder, a state with the highest rate of drug abuse in india. Many of those missionaries are funded by politicians with corruption money stolen direct from the people./government, they did it with a hope that other people will admire and respect them, and that God will foregive them without repentance. See how they read out and published their names and how many missionaries they sent out in the church week-lies and kristian Tlangau!
I see nothing to be proud about this achievement, in fact, a reason to be ashamed of. Wisdom says charity begins at home. Look after your own backyard, it is full of thorny weeds. Sorry to dissapoint you folks!

Didn’t you witness with your own naked eye the sheer number of drug addicts in Mizoram? Drugs abuse in mizoram made national headlines and experts are predicting epidemic level of HIV infections in Mizoram and Manipur. In fact it is a cause celebre, the only thing that make NE india noticed on national level, drugs abuse and HIV! The prevalence is beyond comprehension and those who cast doubts are delusional and are in denial. You are probably ashamed to admit it, and that happened in a state that prides itself on the number of missionaries it sent out. Everytime we went mizoram we visited TNT and if my guide was correct, i saw the largest number of drug abuser I’ve ever seen in my entire life. You may as well continue to hide your head in the sand.
Again, a large number of missionaries sent out are sponsored by goverenment employees and politicians who also hold various important positions in the church. A person with basic arithmetic ability can calculate the income of those people and the missionaries they supported and their estimated living expense and properties. I am sorry it does not add up. Even a high ranked government officer’s pay or a politicians pay is NOT enough to support many missionaries they supported as well as their living expense. I know that there are genuine people including one of my relatives who supported 3 missionaries, who set aside the rent from their properties for that kind of missionary support.
Drunken youths attacking arabs and supposedly educated student union’s calculated attack on non-mizo is hardly comparable. Yeah, we have hate crimes law and racism is a crime here, people are jailed for it, but in Mizoram it is perfectly fine, not a single person has been prosecuted for racism in mizoram because people are not evevn aware that they are racist, because it is acceptable to attack non-mizo at will, whenever they like. Vai (indian people) are told get off their seat in the bus (a reminder of racist segregation in america). Ironically, that is a state that prides itself on the number of christian missioanries it produced

Belabouring with high word count doesn’t prove your point. Which media carried a HEADLINE on drugs & HIV in Mizoram & when? and what is the ‘highest rate’ according to your source? I’m not saying that you are wrong, I’m asking for the source (If you have any, other than the guide at TNT Zemabawk).

Maybe because I am well informed than typical uneducated indians like you who does not know about their own state. Maybe because I am well versed with english and can put my thoughts into words the way I want it. Maybe because I am not ashamed to expose the dirt and filth of mizoram like you who continue to hide your head in the sand like an idiot and try to fool yourself that Mizoram is OK.
My Source: 1. My own eyes and experience.
2. Background:Mizoram is one of the states in India which has been hardest hit by drug-abuse-driven HIV. Proximity to the Myanmarese border, from which heroin is sourced, is the main contributor to the prevalence of DU/IDU. But perhaps the greatest current problem is the spread of HIV and AIDS. What helps this disease to spread is the absence of sufficient awareness among the youth (and especially young women) about the risk they run in contracting HIV through unprotected sexual intercourse and the sharing of contaminated injecting equipment. The latest surveillance by NACO shows 6% HIV prevalence among injecting drug users (IDUs) and 14% among female sex workers (FSWs). But in some pockets - e.g., Champhai,- IDU is reported to account for as much as 40% of HIV infection.
https://www.unodc.org/india/mizoram_170407.html
3.Mizoram, which witnessed the maximum number of drug related deaths in the northeast, is now leading a campaign against drug abuse and AIDS. At least 130 drug users in the 16-35 age group, mainly Proxyvon addicts, died in the state last year.
https://southasia.oneworld.net/.....277/1/1846
Need I say more
August 21st, 2007 at 4:40 pm
read as: as much as i hate to side on the ever critical Aryan
August 21st, 2007 at 5:01 pm
0. I don’t consider your eyes as a credible source.
1. Your source on drugs is not National media, leave alone a headline.
2. More imprtant - where’s the highest rate you mentioned for drug users?
2. The HIV rate quoted is for drug users not the polpulation.
I’m not saying that there are no drug users or HIV+ people. I am not saying that there are no gay people. I’m just curious, thats all.
Please do some more google search and revert. You need to say a lot more office coffee boy with a bentley in an armani suit.

1. whether you considers my eyes as reliable source or not, you cant dent the fact that you have the highest ratre of drug abuser in India.
2. The fact that it was complemented by UN source probably confirmed the widespread of drug abuse not just India.
3. It clearly said Mizoram have the highest number of drug related death in the north east, obviously you deluded idiot dont know what cause drug related death, for me it is obvious, drug abuse!
Sorry to expose the filth of mizoram and India in general, i cant help , Jonan, there is nothing positive to say about mizoram, in any case there are many people who are willing to hide the truth and pretend that its all okay while its not.
Now, go back to your call centre job and be kind to your overseas client like you should and keep complementing about my luxurious life you can only dream of from the third world gutter of the world

Well, I have to say that you people are bogged down by semantics such as the headlines part as well as highest rate etc instead of admitting the fact that your state is rotten with corruption, and have such a high rate of drug addiction even the UN said so. Or was it because some of you have close relatives of those corrupt politicians and church officials? Pick your choice. It’ll be hard to offer a solution while the people themselves refused to admit the gravity of the situation.
Nonetheless, i quoted dirfectly from a website which says “If Manipur is identified as a high-incidence zone for AIDS, Mizoram hit newspaper headlines with the death of more than 940 youths since 1984 because of drug abuse.” https://bnionline.net/mizzimapr......php?ID=87 . Apprently, you made headlines, according that article. But hey truth hurts and arrogance does not help.
When you have the higest rate of drug related death, even an imbecile can calculate who are the highest drug abuser. Then again, that was not my point. My point was while you have such a digusting track record on all kinds of social measure what is the point of being proud about the number of missionaries you sent. You need missionaries more than anyone else.
Finally, as you will continue to hide behinde those missionary statistic and comfort yourself with those numbers, I offer my condolences to the mizo people back home who’ll never get their dues, stolen right infront of their mouth and under the watchful eyes of God by their politicians and government officers, many of them are their church leaders/elders.
History is repeating itslef, we learnt about Roman Catholic church abuse and corruption and reformation in the medieval europe, it is being repeated right there in mizoram albeit NO reformation. Tough luck guys

I see nothing to be proud about this achievement, in fact, a reason to be ashamed of. Wisdom says charity begins at home. Look after your own backyard, it is full of thorny weeds. Sorry to dissapoint you folks!
Aryan dont be proud but we are proud hihi haaaaaaaaaaaahaa

Morry Zimik & Mary Ralte: They are clubbed as one because that’s how they eat, live and behave. Their school books taught them that they are Indians but Indians taught them otherwise. The only reason they play for the national team is that it is the only national team they can play for. They’d love to belong, but not to the team that calls them ‘foreign’,and definitely not to the people that call them ‘loose’. So they stick together and play. For the love of the game, and the honour of their people.

No one is denying drug abuse or presence of HIV+. Read my post again, cretin. I questioned the magnitude of your tall claims (National headlines, highest rate of drug abuse), and all you can manage are some numbers and hitherto unknown websites which support my non-denial but none of your farty claims. OD numbers could be related to the type of substance used (P is not an IUD) and not necessarily on the size of the user base.
Muster all your intellectual faculties, crawl the net some more and let us know.
I’m very protective about my Homeland, especially when it comes to false PR. If your claims are right, I’ll humbly concede. You can yap all day about yourself and your personal effects. But regarding my Homeland, only the truth, please.

I do not need more website to support my claims because I myself witness with my own eyes and I already quoted the website which said Mizoram made newspaper headlines for the wrong reason which clearly said the highest number of death as a result of drug abuse. You can keep hiding behind the lack of further statistic however, that does not change the fact on the ground and the large number of death as a result of drug abuse.
Again, people like you are the reason why mizoram have such high rate of drug abuser and corruption, denying the gravity of those problems and taking offence when your filth is exposed. I’ve done my job and now it is your duty to admit your state is in deep trouble in all forms of social development and you need those missionaries to clean up your own backyard more than anyone else does. The longer you deny , the longer your own people will suffer the consequences.

yes Aryan has summed up it all,u kno what everything has its pros n cons, including this topic too,so i personally think that the whole point of being a witty critic is groundless Aryan, yes we r living in mizoram n we r quite sure bout the ground realities dat majority of teens who died of drug abuse r within our own family circle, some our real bros,u kno so ,we also concedes with the quote bout our state being the no.1 xporter of missionary, lets just put everything in the hands of God to guide us instead of uploading our useless notions whateva out here
