Dog meat, a delicacy in Mizoram

AIZAWL, DEC. 19. Man’s trusted friend and guardian for ages, the dog is seen in Mizoram as a source of tasty meat, more preferred than even the pork, the widely available meat in the State.

It got somebody’s attention already. Looks like we are increasingly being branded for this.

I disagree that it is preferred over pork. What is your reaction?

    Me no eat dog meat. But Chinese and other East Asian people do. So there is no need to apologise. In this little planet, dogmeat eating almost equals fast economic growth.

    It is so wrong to eat dog meat, why would you want to eat you best friend? its sick, insane, abosolutley unacceptable!!!!! STOP EATING DOG MEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Dog is not my best friend :-) I do not eat, unless served. I won’t go searching for dog meat myself.

    Nobody eats their own pet/dog.

    Its self defense..see….if we dont kill dogs, their population will rise, then they will start killing chickens, pigs…etc…..hell, dogs have even been known to kill human babies…therefore in order to maintain their population so they dont become a threat, we have to kill them…and since we already killed them, it makes good sense to eat the meat….so you see that it all boils down to self defense…heheh
