Here’s a youtube video “Lounge Piranha Live At Mizo night-05” playing a Mizo song at Mizo Night, Bangalore last year. Damn I never knew the title of that song 
nor the lyrics but I am very familiar with the tune.
In local channel back home , we have seen non-Mizo such as Debashree, Feroz seeing Mizo songs. Do you like it or despise it? Here’s one such reaction which I consider “Narrow minded and totally stupid”.

Wat about Mizos singing KK’s ‘Pal’? Anyway, music is music, and transcends all boundaries. And it should be allowed to do that without too much of the where when why what or how ? I wouldn’t call this plagiarism, which anyway isn’t all that bad, since it anyhow is the highest form of tribute as long as people know the original source.

yup that was a lovely song, prolly the only hindi song I like, other than “lifebouy” ad song and “papa kehte hain” :-). Its a really good song, one of the first westernized hindi songs if I may say so…. classical rock ishtyle! And I think the video was shot near my school too!!!!!!! Yercaud! wooohooo!!!
If people can keep their biases aside and really listen to the tune, it’s really really good.

hello everyone - im kamal - the guy who sang the super super song.
i heard it when i was about 11yrs old and i loved it- have never forgotten it. Mizos are super.
Learnt the words from my friend Catherine in Delhi.
I understand Mizo a little but not enough to understand what s going on here.
I really think the comment “fcuk man… diz song iz fo mizo people why the fcuk vai che people sang it fuck indian people mizo 4 life wat the fuck indian man ..pissing me off” is horrible.
I really had a great night and so did the band and i think a lot of others did too.
