The Harlem Globetrotters Are in Town!!

I’ve never even dreamed of seeing these guys for real..EVER! But what do you know..they just came and turned up in my town and somebody gave me free tix so life is fair after all!
Went to see them in action last night. I’ve never been a big basketball fan, used to sit and cheer for the Utah Jazz because I liked John Stockton. But last night’s Globetrotters jazzy moves kept me enthralled!
And guess which maimawm got the chance to take pictures with some of the Globetrotters??
Yeah! I even got to meet and pose with some of the members inclusing Herbert Lang & Lawrence Wright!!!
Man I must be the only maimawm in the whole world who can claim to have met the Harlem Globetrotters in person. And I’ll bet none of the team members have ever shook hands with another maimawm before.

wowwwwwwwwwwww yeah my fren told me she was going too..hyd right? mann i wish i was there…love the globetrotters do u know that they trash NCAA all start team and was invited to play as a team in nba before..man i love this guys..the PIONEER of streetball!!

I knew that some of the members used to play for the NBA, but the only thought prevalent on mind as I watched them last night was what lucky SOBs they are.
What a job! All you have to do is travel around the world and get on the court doing what you love doing best, and you just goof around, you don’t even have to “win”! And you get paid God knows how much! Sounds so much better than sitting in front of a computer all day.

No I didn’t know that! Wow, I like them much better now. Maybe I should go and see them again tonight..seeing its for a good cause and some of the players from the other team are REALLY cute
