Wonderla Topview

I just want to share my altogether experience in the country’s biggest amusement park known as ‘WONDERLA’. It is about 35 kilometers from Bangalore on the way to Mysore near a place called Bidadi. The entrance rate for adults on weekends is Rs480 and on weekdays is Rs380.There is special discounts for students and senior citizens, and also other discounts during special occasions. It is open 7 days a week. Wonderla is quite an interesting and remarkable place .It has a huge variety of interesting rides and fun filled items.

Once the entrance fee is paid, you don’t have to pay anymore except for the food. If you are a big fan of amusement park I’m sure you will like this place, especially when you go as a group. I had a great fun with my friends too. The water rides are fantastic. The lazy river and water splash were the thing that should not be missed out, they makes wonderla more wonderful. The best part was the artificial sea wave pool where waves are generated in the pool which makes us feels like the beach. There are also water pipes and slides where we have to lie down on our back and slide down to the artificial pool. The rain disco was awesome. Like the name says it’s a disco under a shower of warm water splattering all over the body. There are rays of flashing light that flash just like in the disco. It’s cool, and sexy.

The land rides are a thrilling experience with lots of fun. The Drop zone where you feel sudden drop from a good height will make your heart pounding. The Wonderla Bamba which rotates almost every directions (I must say, hehe) was again a thrilling experience. Since I don’t dare to try out the thrilling land rides, I missed some of the rides.
I missed the Y-scream ride which was the scariest one that rotates and throws you around shaking you from top to bottom. Other interesting things were the Virtual Reality Ride, Termite house and the termite train, Musical fountain, Car dashing, Giant Wheel on 500 meter platform, Laser Show and other kid rides.

I know you guys will really enjoy the wonders of wonderla for sure, so, do try to visit at least once but make sure that you won’t be addicted to this place like me.

Hi BluePumpkin. Great pics and thanx for sharing your experience with us. Must have been great fun there indeed.

I’ve resized your pics to 443 width because the pics don’t automatically resize for those of us using IE. And I’ve added your blog to my list of Mizo bloggers on my Blog. Hope you don’t mind.

    Regards.

It looks good, but the price is so nice compare to the US and Disney World admission fee is $67 for one day if you are over 10 years old. But for Indian standards it is to expensive. Oh welllll..l………. it’s different world. I wish they could lower down their price. That’s all folks and have a happy New Year.

The price is quite okay but why not call it WONDERLAND instead of “WONDERLA”….

  12. Bluepumpkin Says:

@cupid:well i was thinking bout the same thing..why not wonderland instead of wonderla…but then i thought wonderla could mean wonderland in some other foreign language..so they named it that way.
