    Who the hell was the guy who was pretending to shoot a gun (with gunshot sound effects)? That pretty much took away the credibility of the entire video. That bitch probably has never even touched a gun in real life. It is funny how all these young Mizo boys see all these things about ghetto life, hip-hop (African American) culture, gang life etc. on TV and think its cool to try to be like all these people they see on TV. They know nothing about real ghetto life and hustling and yet they rap as if they are from the ghetto or something. In real life, once someone pulls a gun on you, you pretty much have to run like a bitch. In other words, you pretty much have to be willing to kill someone in order to be considered tough in the real ghetto world. Silai phawi rang rang huai a ni mai. It’s not like in Mizoram where “in cho leh in cho” just fight. Even 10 year olds pull out guns in the ghetto. All these young Mizo rappers have no idea what real ghetto life is like and would most likely shit their pants if they actually lived in one.

    Hmmmm. Wonder why they dress cholo style when they’re not mexicans. Wonder why they’re pimp limping when they aren’t black. Why are the end of their lips curled downwards trying to look hard while singing a song of praise. Wonder what the “g” in “g’affiliated” stand for… probably God because it wouldn’t be “gang” affiliated. Well it could be “gang” because I myself used to be in a gang called “nghathu-boy-shoe” while roaming the tough streets of Kulikawn. I guess that dude throwing a gang sign with his ring finger pulled back with his thumb was from the 4th Street Brothas. Man, I didn’t even know they reached Asia. Not too sure about slacking in a christian vid. but whatever works.

    DARRYL_DL Maybe the day you lose a loved one due to gang violence or gun violence, you will understand what I am talking about. I do not have a problem with most of the lyrics of the song and most of the footages of the video. I do however have a big problem with the gunshot gestures, gunshot sound effects and gang signs. I am very sensitive when it comes to gun violence. I have not personally lost a loved one due to gun violence, but I know people who have. Like I said before, these young Mizo boys see all these things on TV and think it is cool to emulate them without knowing how serious it actually is in the real ghetto world. Innocent people are killed in the ghetto almost everyday. Gun violence is one of the major issues in the lives of many inner city kids. Again, like I said before, the gunshots gestures and sound effects took away the credibility of the entire video for me. I would rather have them have porn in the background instead of the gunshots. At least porn does not result in the death of thousands of both innocent people and not so innocent people. You can add a few words to the song “Amazing Grace” and pretty much ruin the song and take away its credibility. Do you get my point now???

    Who the hell was the guy who was pretending to shoot a gun (with gunshot sound effects)?”

    as 4 me its not the effect or the lyrics dat bugs me… let em use wat dey want!! as long as the sound coincide, its a music i dont care at all, even if they say ” i’ll kill all of u” we all kno it aint gonna happen!!, if u read the lyrics frm da black ,white rapper we find many words, swearin, killin..etc but dat doesn mean dey r really workin on it, or course some might!! as der is an exception 4 evrythng, see this is one of da way how RAP LYRICS goes,like black metal, death metal, rock, love songs, country, punk,..etc.. have their own style of writing lyrics or using effect.
    As for this video i appreciate what da sora did!! tryin deir best for a betta world of CHRIST!!
    All of em did great… RD and the one who used dat gun shot effect..wow!!, though they hav a long way for improvement, i can c da improvement in all of them..
    FOR THE WORST PART IS THE SOUNDTRACK : i can tell its an FL edition, am not sayin it crazy or sumthin but to me its like MC King hav one templete and they edit it!! from the first till now.. every edition of their music is not changin at all!! dey need to change this part… and I wish all da best for deir next level!!
    PEACE OUT!!

    Chiankuanga. I get ur ‘point’ now. But it seems ur the one who’s missing ur point. U talk about the shooting gesture and all ruining the video. Then wat about ur comment. What u were trying to point out was ruined by the ‘b’ word that u were using and the ‘I came from the ghetto and I know sum1 who lost a dear one to gang violence’ attitude that u had. U had a good point but it was ruined by a few slangs that u were using Aight? !!

    DARRYL_DL I think there is a BIG difference between using profanity in an online forum compared to a gospel song. I do not have a big problem with the lyrics of 2pac’s songs, but if a gospel singer was to say the same stuff in the name of God, I would have a big problem.

    @ChiangKuanga

    I chiang mo? It’s a dog eat dog world now buddy.. who’s holier than who to enter the golden gate up there!! So, take it easy and just let it be.. like their song said ‘we’re all the same in the eyes of the maker’..

    Gunshot gestures n all - it’s all about the culture of Rap. Like it or not it’s not gonna change here n there in the ghetto u mentioned. ahem!

    Oh 1 more thing - if u hate so much about gunshooting there’s one site i like u to visit www.letstalkaboutlove.com - no guns there! u’ll be happy and gay! gay! gay!

    Chao!

  30. 30
    ChiangKuanga Says:

    So if someone rapes 10 girls or shoots 10 innocent people and says “we are all the same in the eyes of God, you shouldn’t judge me, we are all one in Christ”, would that make sense to you? I know that gunshot gestures and gang life etc. are part of the hip-hop culture, but the thing is that most rappers (like 2pac, 50 cent, Snoop Dog, The Game etc.) actually grew up in the ghetto where they had to deal with gunshots during their childhood. These Mizo dudes on the other hand have never lived a life like that and have only seen it on TV and think its cool. If they ever go to Compton, Camden, Brooklyn or Harlem and rap like that, they will get shot pretty quick due to their ignorance.

  31. 31
    aristotle Says:

    ur not wrong!! but u didnt get da full picture !! have u ever heard 2pac killing somone b4… read his lyrics u will find it dere but in real live he was said dat he was a calm and kind gentleman… reality and lyrics doesnt alwayz coincide, even da mizo song said sumthin like ” murvate ah changin ka han thlawk kual a” but dat doesnt meant it really happen, again reality and lyric doesnt always coincide, of course we dont have da ghetto side of life wit guns and all dat kinda stuff here.. but beliv me its changin… guns!!! he he!! catch ma drift!! i dont wanna say this in public.. just think about it!!
    a khai khawm nan” I sawi hi a dik khups mai mashe hriat kim lo i nei keimah ang deuh in”

    GOMI Says:

    @ Chiangkuanga

    We all knew far worst scenario in Africa, S.America.. if u wanna name some. You’re exaggerating ur point way beyond. Bottom line is these lyrics are all about literature. Those ghetto rappers u mentioned don’t kill people for the love of Hip Hop or anything, n we all know that..

    And these mizo boys didn’t mean to tell you that “we’ll kill n rape but we’ll still be the same in the eyes of God”….. n as far as i’m concerned their message is clear to most of their listener. they’re talking about human rights!!!

    Man, wish I can join the debate but I listened to the song again but can’t make out what they are talking about. (no offense… bone-thugs te sawi pawh ka hre thei chuang lo.) But at 2:40 the dude lifts his shirt and shows off some of his fake bling bling then the next dude in a white t shirt at 2:37 holds up his hands as if to point two pistols. Isn’t that out of place for a christian vid??

    Ok, maybe these boys are not worthy to feature in any Gospel channels. Easy way to sum up would be to have 2 channels, 1 for all the do-gooders, church-going folks - strictly. Another 1 for these bunch of boys n gals whom you can always point at ‘em and say ‘great pretenders… all guaranteed hell tickets holder!!’

    Some people are not as clean, decent and good as you fellows.. u may call em Street Bum!! But Heaven is made for these people as well… adios!

    @GOMI
    Can you please do me a favor? Please visit cnn.com everyday for a few weeks. If you do this, I am pretty confident that you will read about innocent people being shot and killed due to gun violence almost everyday. After you do this, answer this question: Do you honestly think it is appropriate to have gunshots in a gospel song???

  44. 44
    darryl_dl Says:

    ChiangKuanga huizzzzzzz. Talk about being in a situation and refusing to step out. Ur bullshitting is getting on my nerves. Have u eva watched any american gospel songs (since u seem to know all bout the ‘GHETTOS in AMERICA’). They’re showing more nasty things than that. U should watch gospel rap crew Grits’ vid They All Fall Down. They’re showing much much more nasty things than just a gunshot gesture Mr. I Cant Stand Gunshot Gestures. But the point is we concentrate on the LYRICS. (For ur information lyrics means the songs. Aight?). N mebbe the gunshot gesture is meant for the DEVIL, u prick!!!! So dont talk about what u dont know n dont think u can relate to the ghettos from the books that u read. Ka vel hrep mai ang che.

  45. 45
    Addict Says:

    @Chiangkuanga, What i would like to say is the songs of SORA are very much inspirational to addicts like me as they represent our struggles. So I would very much like it if you stop ur bulshitting like darryl_dl says. Man, from ur comments I can c that ur one of those who gives more about appearances than the heart. N those who r saying that they should rap more clearly so that we can hear the lyrics including u, i think u dont know nuttin bout hip hop and rap music at all. Would u prefer it if 2pac was spitting rhymes the speed of a tortoise like that big man from Boyz II Men. Ur saying ur a fan of 2pac n all n u get their message clearly but u cant undastand the lyrics of our Mizo rappers???? Man, it just shows ur a hater. My final statement, u wanna make a joke of an addict, fight my tears.. N no one gives a damn about ur ghetto here.

  46. 46
    ChiangKuanga Says:

    I finally give up. They can keeping watching TV and keep copying whatever the see on TV. I am out of words. Gun control???

    triflin_tribal Says:

    Gomi… Who said anything about the “worth” of the “boys”. Your so out of line and out of context. You missed the bus dude. LOL.

  48. 48
    GOMI Says:

    @triflin_tribal

    From ur previous comments about these boy’s act like niggaz or mexicano whateva.. I think ur the one who missed the Bus! Hip-Hop culture don’t say u must be Mexicano, Black Nigga..

    Worth of the boys- I’m answering all the conservative comments about what they shouldn’t be doing in gospel vid and all.. and i say from their conservative point of view these boys don’t seem to be worthy at all for what they do!

  49. 49
    triflin_tribal Says:

    Gomi… Sigh.. your absolutely right! Hip-hop culture doesn’t say you must be Mexican or African-american. Hip-hop culture doesn’t say that and neither did I. Get it straight please. Scroll up again if you must.

    If you want to make a judgment of the worthiness of these boys’ character thats all you. Not sure if you should but I’m not stopping you.

  50. 50
    darryl_dl Says:

    @triflin_tribal i scrolled ur past comments n hell man, u dont even know wat ur talking about. Ur saying u aint judging their characters but u were saying they cant pimp limp coz they arent black and they cant dress up cholo style coz they aint mexicans. N u were saying showing their bling blings n all isnt appropriate for a christian vid. So stop going round n round n accept the fact that ur a cheap conservative BITCH!! ur da one qwhos making a judgment of their characters. Not Gomi. N i am making a judgment of ur character!! N from now on, dont judge whats appropriate for a rap vid n whats not, leave the judgment to real MEN. Peace out.
