Time and again God has always managed to show me the love that my Dad has for me, and I’m grateful to Him for giving me a best friend. This video just goes to show that if an earthly father has such love for his son, imagine the love that God, our almighty Father must have for us. I watched it last night and I have to admit that I had tears running down my cheeks. God bless them both.
Strongest Dad in the World. Dick has pushed his disabled son, Rick, Eighty-five times and 26.2 miles in marathons. Eight times he’s not only pushed him 26.2 miles in a wheelchair but also towed him 2.4 miles in a dinghy while swimming and pedaled him 112 miles in a seat on the handlebars–all in the same day.
That’s the Boston Marathon and the song is “I can only imagine - MercyMe”

The part where he’s strapped himself to the dinghy and swimming across is just too touching…
