Enterprises use Redundancy, High Availability clustering and Disaster Recovery technologies for business continuity in the event of unforeseen disaster such as fire, flood, earthquake. So that if one site goes down, the remote site will take over.

So how can you safeguard your documents against natural disasters without spending a lot of our hard earned money?

1) If you stay in a location different your native place, leave copies of your documents at your parent’s place.

2) Scan your documents and upload the documents to the internet. (e.g:- your gmail account)

Using #1 and #2, you will have something to show in case you lose your documents.
