In a recent poll conducted by Revolver Magazine, Cristina Scabbia,(pic above) vocalist of goth metallers Lacuna Coil was voted the Hottest Chick in Metal.
Pantera was voted Best Band Ever beating Metallica, Slayer, Korn and Black Sabbath. Best Guitarist honour was shared by Slayer’s Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman, while their bandmate, Dave Lombardo won the best drummer prize.
In the accomanying Readers Poll 2006, Tool were named Band of the Year, Korn claimed Best Live Band and Corey Taylor (Slipknot) Best Vocalist. The Hottest Dude in Metal went to Zakk Wylde (guitarist Ozzy Osbourne/ Black Label Society)
