Tremors in Delhi

New Delhi: An earthquake hit Delhi and surrounding areas early this morning. The tremors were felt at 4:42 am.

The Meteorological Department says the earthquake measured 4.3 on the Richter scale.

There are no immediate reports of casualties or damage to property.

One who felt this tremor was our father_sphinx. Not sure if he was awake early or yet to sleep ? Hope to hear no casualties and damage.

it shook really bad…it was still dark and my bed was moving when i suddenly woke up and i heard people screaming outside…its hard to believe its only 4.3..maybe on the 5th floor its worse..:(

after the tremor, i received msg from friends… some said “A va den ve”, “Ka tho a hman trep alawm le! Ka thinphu a la reh lo”, “Ka au nasa ltk, ka chhungte pawh ka auna lamah an rawn tho vek”, “Thinphu a la reh lo, engtin nge in awm? in thra maw?”, “Rin aiin a rei daih mai a”…….. then lastly came Sandman’s msg, “Did you guys felt it too this morning? If so then my utmost apology. I had too much bekang n soda last night”. Phew……after all, it was all Sandman’s….
