Can’t ask her out

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

Some are born famous. Some made themselves. And there are those who simply deserve their share of fame. Others like me exist to showcase them to the world.

But she wouldn’t let me do it. So should I bury this to be discovered by my grand children one day? Or should I just erase it? What I really intend to do with this, I do not say. And she doesn’t know. I love that! That brings us to my favorite words in the dictionary — suspense and doubt.

Almost Headlines of 2007

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

Would be great if you could all share nationally or internationally significant events and happenings during 2007 that somehow failed to make headlines or generate much publicity.

In sports for example, the Indian hockey team winning the Asian Cup while the T-20 Cricket victory made headlines for weeks (never mind the cash rewards, or the lack of it) and that too after Chak De. And I heard that the Indian Football team defeated a certain national team of western origin… west of the Arabian Sea, that is.

This is for a little project of mine and its not limited to sports or any other subject. Would appreciate if you all can contribute :)
