also according this this ASSAM RIFLES WEBSITE Indira Gandhi and Nehru visited Aizawl to inaugurate some Assam Rifles thingie unfortunately the foto never downloads completely

My Grandfather led a “Three Cheers” for Nehru when he visited Mizoram.

I have a photo of Nehru dancing with my Grandparents.

I came across this as I wanted to find some detail about the visit to nudge my Gran’s memory about it.
