Sonia Gandhi to visit Mizoram in February

Aizawl, Jan 13 (PTI) UPA Chairman Sonia Gandhi would visit Mizoram next month to lay the foundation of Rajiv Gandhi Stadium here, an official statement said today.

Sonia has informed Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla about her decision on Monday night at the dinner hosted in honour of the visiting Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, it said.

Lal Thanhawla has also invited Bangladeshi High Commissioner Tariq Hussain to visit the proposed Indo-Bangladesh border trade centre at Kawrpuichhuah in south Mizoram, the statement added.
