J, you’ll always find sceptics. Ok, lets take the case of Gurgaon. Farmers sell their land to planners/builders/promoters.
After they sell their only means/source of living, they use the money to clear off their debts or get their daughters married. Parted with his only source of living, most of these farmers end up as chowkidars for the apartments/malls that are built on the land was once theirs…
Sad but true.

Personally, I find it really unhelpful being negative about sth that’s already happened. I mean the Centre cost vaibelchhe 37 (what that is in English Im not sure) to build and it’s all said and done, so why harp on the kan mamawh lo angle now. An sak hma daih tawh khan sawi mai tur ania.
About the Gurgaon farmers, they still do have some means of employment at least, and one that’s not dependent on the fickle weather.
