Independence Day

I remember saluting our national flag way back in the Nineties. Sadly and ironically that was the last time i did that.

Yesterday, I saw some kids saluting the national flag as their principal unflurred the national flag. ’twas nostalgia at its best. So, when was the last time did you get to salute the national flag. :o)

    I saluted just today. Actually I was just planning to stand in attention as the flag was raised in our Apartment complex this morning. But some guys started saluting, and slowly everyone looked around and at each other and we all saluted too :-)

    Actually I didnt dress up properly so I felt it was not appropriate to salute (The last time I saluted was in an NCC uniform) :-) but then, everyone did, so even I just joined.
