    How to creative:

    1. Ignore everybody.

“The more original your idea is, the less good advice other people will be able to give you. When I first started with the cartoon-on-back-of-bizcard format, people thought I was nuts. Why wasn’t I trying to do something more easy for markets to digest i.e. cutey-pie greeting cards or whatever?”

Hip – hop culture doesn’t exist in Mizoram. I’ve seen tons of Mizo hiphop videos on youtube and others. They are all so made up…all wannabes. Remind me of the Offspring video ” Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)”. Pretty Fly (For a Mizo Guy) te pawh hi an la siam ve ang ka ti. Hip hop/rap culture hi kekawr fual dei duai a hak, ganja zuk khuk chum chum, inlak rum em em ringawt, hlathu chham zuah zuah rikngawt hi a ni lo. Khreuh does have a point that needs to be slightly honed.

What we witnessed in the posted video is partly due to the shortcomings of our society. What do young folks of Mizoram have that can mold their youthful exuberance into something more productive outside of church and school? If the testosterone laden adolescent has a void within him that can not be nurtured by his immediate society, then he will certainly look elsewhere. As much as I cringe to see our young emulating other cultures, perhaps it is our society’s undoing and deficiency that allows them to be more easily influence.

I bet they are more younger than 18, they’ll probably be 15-16, for me I guess its ok for them to have some fun because like khreuh said we all do that in their age, this kids needs some space and I dont find nothing so annoying and disturbing about their dress code instead they look comfortable and sporty, like kids love their toys, they also love their game

Their dress code doesn’t really bother me. It’s the attitude that comes along with the dress code that DOES bother me. I doubt if these kids really have respect for their elders, if they listen to their parents or attend Sunday school like every good Christian kid should. No, I’m not trying to lecture anyone on religion here. The point I’m trying to stress here is how harmful these copycat cultures can be to our society. If they are just having fun making the video, that’s great. If they really think they are the thugs they so admire and see on TV everyday, God help us all…..
