Rockers from down under INXS will be coming to India as part of their “Switched On” tour..
as most of us know they’d organised a reality show to find their new singer to replace Michael Hutchence (he commited suicide and was also Kylie Minogue’s lover at some point..)
im not that big an INXS fan and in know only around 9-10 INXS songs .. Never tear us apart.. beautiful girl..Not enough time ..Need you tonight.. etc.. are the better known ones

INXS have revealed a pair of concert dates in India marking the bands first ever shows in the country.
The Switched On tour will call in at Mumbai and Bangalore in October ahead of the European tour.
5 October – MMRDA Grounds Bandra, Mumbai
7 October – Palace Grounds, Bangalore

there was a decent sized crowd.. Satriani is not a crowd puller by any means.. only the fanatics and true lovers of Satriani’s style and art will come and thats better cuz we dont want any idiotic people who have no clue of whats goin on to attend the concert. (pauses to breathe…)
this is India.. u cant expect crowds of 10000 to attend such concerts.. Bryan Adams drew around 15 thou and thats pretty impressive eh!
the crowd at the Joe Sat concert must’ve been about 5000 max..

I bought the 2k ticket for Satriani but ppl from the back also broke thru the barrier and everybody was everywhere. But I dont regret it… when he threw his picks to the crowd, of of it hit my head, but i was looking elsewhere… so some guy behind me picked it up.
