More Internatianl Routes Open to Private Airlines this Winter
India’s two largely domestic airlines, namely Jet Airways & Air Sahara, that are entitled to fly international, have received government permission for new international sectors starting this winter.
Jet Airways will fly to Bangkok while Air Sahara will become the first private Indian carrier to enter China.

An out-of-service 52 seater Fokker 27 aircraft that once belonged to the now defunct East West Airlines, was on Wednesday sold by the Airports Authority of India.
The plane will be taken to the School of Engineering and Technology in Nemrana, Rajasthan.
The unserviceable plane will be used to train engineers.

according to my fren who works at Kingfisher airlines, he said they are trying to enter north eastern market..just wondering anyone knows when they will fly to aizawl??? might be sooner than expected!
