What would qualify you as a terrorist? I figure you would need to be able to tick atleast 3 of the following:
1. be a fanatic, with a lifelong desire to blow up people.
2. dying while killing a dozen or more innocent people is your idea of an ideal death.
3. killing a lot of people any which way gives you a warm glow in your heart.
4. have a working knowledge of explosives
5. ……or of a gun
6. ……or of a plane
7. ……or of a knife as a lethal weapon
8. ……or be physically strong enough to strangle a person.
I am sure there are more things you need to qualify for. But you and I probably don’t qualify for any of the above, except maybe #4, if you count firecrackers as explosives. So why can’t the airlines let us carry any of the following?
·Toothpaste
·facewash
·lipgloss
·cream
I swear I don’t know how to mix the above into a crazy bomb, and I have never done anybody physical harm with a tube of lipstick. And if you’re going to be stuck in an airport overnight, you do need some of the above. Well, no matter how we protest, it’s for our security and the airport officials are not going to budge. Terrorism is here to stay, so I guess the terrorised will just have to grin while we lug our luggages in and out of the baggage check. Terrorism sucks! The way things are going, one day we may have to send our luggage by road while we fly in a plane…..naked :p
