Orkut is banned, Orkut is banned you fool.
I saw this at a friend’s computer last night. Suspecting it was a virus, I tried Firefox. It didn’t allow me to open Firefox. I tried googling. Even that didn’t work. The moment I typed “orkut” in the search box, I was kicked out.
BANGALORE: The browser war between Internet Explorer (IE) and Mozilla has taken a new turn with a new Virus pitching in to help IE. The W32.USBWorm known popularly as the ‘I Hate Mozilla Virus’ prevents users from opening Mozilla and also prevents them from accessing sites like Orkut and Youtube.
Everytime the user opens Mozilla, the Virus pops up with a message, “Use IE, You Dope. I don’t hate Mozilla but use IE or else….” and closes the browser window. When the user tries to get into Orkut or Youtube again the villainous pop-up splash the message, ‘Orkut is banned, Orkut is banned you fool.
“The administrators didn’t write this program guess who did?” and it plays a sound, supposedly a devil’s laugh. The worm then closes the web page window.
WARNING!
The worm spreads via thumbdrives, data cards and storage discs, using the computer’s Autorun feature.
Solution
– Open Task Manager by holding Ctrl + Alt + Del and click on the process tab.
– Ignore the warning messages and stop the SVC.Host for the system’s user name.
– Navigate to C:/Heap41a and delete the contents of the folder. Smile.

Hmanniah he worm hi ka kai ve a, antivirus tam takin he worm hi a lo la detect lova; tichuan a siamthat theih dan tur ka zawng ta a. (ka comp-ah chuan google chu a block lo tlat…youtube leh orkut a block)
1. Go to Safe Mode with Command Prompt (by pressing f8 while booting)
2. Then on the command prompt :
C:Doc. & Setting\username\>cd\
C:\attrib -s -h heap41a
C:\del heap41a
Here you will see a display that you could not delete all the files becoz this worm use the svc-host to run its process….but this is ok….
3. Restart the comp (no need to go to safe mode, just normal booting)
4. Open My Computer and go to Tools -> Folder Options then click the View tab. Then change the Show Hidden Files and Folder option so that you can view all your files and folders
5. Go to C: drive
6. Then Delete the folder Heap41a

See, there will be many SVC.host. Seee this “SVC.Host for the system’s user name.” That is the SVC.host process that should be killed.
The owner of the comp mentioned earlier success tried it and can now happily scraps at Orkut. No need to take that long route.
