Living In Sin was born in London, UK and started his music carrear at avery young age of 13. He was probably one of the first indian Rappers in the world to start pushing his own music at a time when Indian MC’s were alien in the industry. He started creating music at school with a group he formed called “The Elements” in 1994, which turned into, “SLE,” in 1996. He entered talent shows allover South London, which a lot of them he won and got a good fan following. By 1997, he had already performed with chart selling artists such as, Coolio, Shola Ama, Glamour Kid and many more.

In 1998, he created his own label, which was one of the first indepentent Hip Hop labels formed in the UK. The label signed up artists from all over London and expanded in Genres like Ragga (Bashment). YourDamSelf entertainment at one point had over 100 artists coming through their studios such as, Shameless Money, J-Thrilla, Stylo G, Scrapp Dogg, Tru Flex Crew, 419, Smith 00, Raw Life, Silver Fox, Scalez and many more.

Performed alongside Coolio at the age of 15 in London *Headlined shows in London for artists including Black eyed peas, MOP, Glamour Kid, So Soild Crew, *Headlined shows in Mumbai for artists including Akon, DJ Whoo kid (50 Cents DJ), Hardkaur (Sona Family) and much more. *Created the First Hip Hop Café in Mumbai called, “The Spot.” *”Tailor-made the Hip Hop scene in Mumbai” – Indian Express *Has a clothing brand labled, “Living In Sin” *Models for Black Dip and Graffritree clothing.

Sin and YourDamSelf entertainment pioneered and put Hip Hop in to fashion in Mumbai. Candy Shop was started in Mumbai in 2004, travelling from club to club promoting the new found to be trend in our city, “Hip Hop.” Creating a buzz by being the first authentic hip hop party in Mumbai, media ie. CTV, Zee Café’s After hours with Nina, Channel V and many more were attracted to these high energy events. DJ’s included Sin (London), Chucky (London), Chris Mcguieness (NY), Mani (Mumbai), Saa (Mumbai), and many more. We also saw acts such as Living In Sin, DJ Whoo Kid, Hardkaur, Anushka, Spaz, Big Philly and many more grace us with performance’s. Also Candy Shop Mumbai supplied a lot of entertainment for events like the Channel V big birthday bash, VH1’s Hip Hop Husstle and much much more. Now still rapidly growing, Candy Shop in 2008 will also be launched in Kolkata. This year we have more big international acts performing in Mumbai with weekly events and one big event once a month.

Sin, who has found a new audience in Nerul for his Candy Shop series of hip hop nights, believes that Mumbai’s love for the genre isn’t just growing in size but also in depth. “There are songs I couldn’t play two years ago that I’m playing right now and people go crazy,” he said. “You would [have] never been able to play [DJ Khaled’s] ‘I’m So Hood’ remix two years ago.”
