“I have been trying to leave comments on your blog but they never appear! Did I say something wrong?”
I’ve had angry comments from readers as well as bloggers blogging about me censoring them. The reality is that unless a comment is explicit, spammy or defamatory I don’t delete comments.
– Darren Rowse of ProBlogger
Darren did theology degree for years, however does full time blogging. He is from Australia but I have no idea if he stays any where close to Aryan.
What happens to Darren happens to us too. Of course less frequent. If your comment does not appear, don’t jump to conclusion (that we are evil :-). Let us know, we can track it.
Akismet had saved us from 62,705 spams. We also periodically check if Akismet has caught genuine comments. The latest Akismet filters comments, Pingback and Trackback among the spams it caught making our work a lot easier. Trackback contributes the most number of spams.
To help us and help yourself please
1) Don’t place more than two links in one comment. Moderation module will catch it and your comment will not appear until approved.
2) Avoid excessive expression the likes of hahaaaaaaaa HIHIHIHIhihihih.
