I learned about the existence of the official website of Mizoram Basketball Association (MBBA) from one of the comments in Sandman’s blog. It contains some pretty interesting articles and photos. A must visit for all basketball lovers.
Below is and excerpt from an article by Liansangluri, the MBBA’s former Executive Member

In those days, the girls had to wear white shorts, white shirts, white socks, white bata canvas shoes, and those long hair must have it tied up. As for the boys, our uniform was the same, except that they had to wear white sleeveless vest with their numbers printed in the front. We played a lot in the sun, so when the boys took off their vests, they still seemed to be wearing it because they were all sunburned. Can you picture us in our uniform with the girls having to wear shirt and the boys in their vests? Children of today are really lucky for being able to dress up the way they like ! Basketball, being a game with fashion.

Ben will probably love the name of the Treasurer, she’s called MARTINI Lalhlupuii. :)

    A hmaa thu no 5 khi @myself, chuan a dinglam hnunga ding sam tawn lo zawk khi bmw, a sam pawh ngil hma, mirage chu a ‘englo’ hmel ber khi a ni mai :-)

    @myself : hahaha… @bmw, SHU sang hi chu e, eng pawh hmu se a SHU zawng hian an hmu thin a, tihngaihna tak pawh an awm lo. AIIMS a an course hawn thar tur atana Practical Laboratory a dah tawp chi!!! ;-)

    Practical Laboratory a dah top chi…ha ha nalh lutuk…Model tur supply tu ah ka tang chak top…”englo” tih hian thil tam tak a kawk thei, englo lian ka tih chuan kezungpui lian ka tihna poh ani thei…
