Saw this reference to Matthew 19:12 while going through the website of an NGO:
“For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.”
I am not sure about the New Testament’s interpretation of it, so leaving it open for discussion in this forum.

God made us to get married and have kids not divorce. but there are some guys 1) who cannot do dot dot due to birth disorder, 2)like catholic priest who devoted not to do dot dot dot in order to serve (God) better 3) some less lucky who donot get partner for dot dot dot
all may be called eunuchs but what i wanna share is the third – these guys can receive or give dot dot dot – so it’s against the will of God perhaps to remain eunuchs – if there are any amongst misual dot com-ers let us help them find partner for them to do dot dot dot

Let us leave aside what the New testament says about Homos. In the Old Testament, eunuchs sounded like Cabinet Ministers (people with deep connectiona with top government things)

The Bible says the sun sets in the west and rises in the east… it also says that the universe revolves around our planet… We have decided not to take things in the Bible so literally… Everyone.

It also says the earth is flat!

Besides the whole earth being visible from a tall mountain, it says a tall tree can be seen from the ends of the earth… insinuating a flat earth… of course we shouldn’t take this literally either.

It’s literal, but not to be regarded literally. Men of olden days assumed that way, but the Creator Jesus in Matthew 24 revealed, opening it’s door in ajar — for some a dawn, for some a dusk, for some a noon-time —long before Copernicus postulated!

So we pick and chose the true parts then…
So why were Christians so angry when Copernicus suggested a spherical planet?

heheh… The earth used to be flat and the sun and the moon also revolved around planet earth… but that’s probably metaphorical too, although us Christians used to take it literally.
