The Chief Minister of two North-Eastern States of Meghalaya and Mizoram called on the Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways, Thiru T.R. Baalu here this evening to discuss road sector projects in their respective states.

The Chief Minister of Mizoram Shri Zoramthanga referred to a State Government proposal for improvement of 40 km long road (Kawrtethawveng-Kawrthah-Kanhumun-Lowerp road) which was approved, in principle, for Rs. 1877 lakh under the Inter State Connectivity scheme.
