If you’ve ever been to Newslink’s Google Stats page, you might have noticed that Aizawl is not showing up among the locations. The reason for this is that the service, HostIP, which is being used for geolocation resolution from visitor’s ip addresses, is a user contributed database, which eventually refines itself over time.
Here’s a bid to all you Mizo’s around the globe, visit the link below, and correct the location you are at, if the service guesses it wrong. It will give you a wrong answer, 60% of the time, so that you can give it a right answer to filter down it’s accuracy, which is quite a cool method.
