So Lungtun (name changed) didn’t tell me about this ’cause she’s not a member of the Bhutanese royal family. It turns out that only women from the royal family are allowed to have long hair in Bhutan. So to all you ladies having long hair, cheer up. I never knew that having long hairs was such a privilege : )

If not from the royal family but part of the royal family, my guess actually.
Its sensitive, so i’ve never dared/been stupid enough to ask the Bhutanese i know. Though my Nepalese and Sikkimese friends have told me so.

hmm dunno bt that whiteboy but all the bhutanese girls i know have long hair.. anyway their country is so small im pretty sure at least half of them are from the royal family
