If you’re from Delhi, you’ll get to see a lot of these. Just pasting the image from a friend’s blog. In case you’re challenged in reading Hindi scripts, it roughly translates to “Learn to Repair Mobile”.
As commented: “Three mobile phones in use in that picture: the guy in the booth, the one walking across, and mine – I took the photo with my mobile phone”
The rate with which mobile phones have penetrated India is truly amazing! Anyone remember the time when having a mobile phone was a luxury or for that matter, when you had to pay for incoming calls?

when there was a charge for incoming calls, I did not even have a friend who had a mobile. I was that poor. Now rickshaw pullers have mobiles:p

Still remember ’98/’99 vel bor chho khan ka classmate pakhat hian Motorolla(a model hming ka se toh lo antenna om ang kha) lian tok mai hi min pe a, sim ka lei a, ka hmang ve trat2 thin. Its soooo big that i’ve to carry a bag to carry it lol :D. A hnu deuh 2K vel a thar ka lei hnu poh khan ka la nei reng a, kan en thin a, mi chhut thluk top nan kan duh ta riau a lol, its almost the size of a brick lmao. Outgoing call cost me around 4/5 bucks, incoming kha 3 vel ni ta in ka hria. Lunglen thlak ve riau.
