That nasat chu chutiang competition te a awm chu! Mizote hian lam lamah hian hma sawn ila ka ti ngawt mai. Zaithiam te hian music video te an siam nasa tawh si a, ding jum tut a zai mai tawh lovin, han lam pah se, tin a sira thiam taka lo lam han hmuh tur te hi tam ve tawh se ka ti ngawt mai. Exercise atan pawh a tha reng rengs!

Agree with Jinx, tiang hi awm chho zel se hma kan sawn thei ang..Especially for the mizo guys haha who thinks dancing is gay( well its gay only coz we are so much exposed to vicky, lolz) I used to feel it too, until i came here and met some crazy dancers on the campus( who are now my closest frens and crew-mates), so when i came home to aizawl, told my family, my brother laughed (I dont blame him, he is the one person i’ve never even seen shaking his body to a song even tho he loves music) and i know i might have to do some crazy thing to change his opinion abt dancing but to my surprise all i did was one thing, his opinion just changed, coz yeah he never seen anything like that in real life..So my point is what our opinion is based on is what our eyes sees..
kar hmasa leh nizan khan Zero-Nine Dance competition tura tel tur ho practice naah ka va kal ve a, its 90% hiphop dance(though i dont really do hiphop) zirtir an nuam in hmuh an nuam and they didnt have any professional coaches or they didnt pay a fortune for dance lesson, mizo nihna nge nge ah hian kan music video a lamte, concertna a lo lamte(side dancers) ka mithlain ka hmu a, thiam tur chu an ni,they get a great potential, mahse an hmuhnawm loh tlat zel, the reason is that they treat music as “Music/Sound”, Ask any dancers, jazz, ballet, house, hiphop,pop/lockers, breakdance etc dance is no more a movement of styles, or whoever have the nicest flow, its about expressing urself, it doesnt matter if no one understand what ur trying to express, as long as u feel it, a conversation with the music u dance to, a language unspoken yet understood and the only way u can see music in motion.
The difference between just a mere dancer and a passioned dance is, one worries about the style of his/her dance, and one dance to push off his worries, it doesnt matter if everyone is watching, he sees nothing but the dancefloor, he hears nothing but the beat.
The fact comes clear when ur world comes crashing down, ur broke, u have a bad day(failed ur exams, got fired from ur work, someone just broke ur heart) at the end u just pick up ur gears and stereo and head to the studio, play the beats and then u dance and thats the magical moment coz that moment u have a pure soul,u dont care whether ur in a deathrow or not, u just forget abt everything..the moment is just priceless.
Anyways, ziak thui tawh bawn haha, i never really said what i feel abt dancing there it is..I speak for all dancers and my crew especially :)!!
DANCE IS A CULTURE, A LIFESTYLE, A LANGUAGE THAT EVERYONE CAN UNDERSTAND.

Spikey ka tran bon top che!! Keipawh lam hi ka ngaina bon top top. I was into belly-dancing. At the moment, I’m into hip-hop. Next year’s gonna be exciting as I’m planning to get a lesson on ‘salsa’.
I’ve wanted to learn salsa for a long time now but haven’t had the opportunity as there are no classes conducted in English here
As luck would have it, one of my American colleague, whom I also invited for C’mas party in my apartment this week turns out to be a professional in ‘salsa’. He’s promised to teach me starting next year. Yipeeeeee!!!
Whoever says dancing is gay……needs to have their brain checked!! Guys who can throw around their bod to the ‘rythm of the music’ are VERY appealing….ummmmmm…..sexy!!
I’m the “passioned” kinda dancer as Spikey mentioned. I can dance in my room alone and enjoy as much as I would enjoy dancing elsewhere…..dancing is rejuvenating! It’s exhilirating…….
I’ve encouraged many of my friends and young teens back in Mizoram to take up dancing. I’ve even sent them several step-by-step lessons on CDs(mostly hip-hop). Will see how far they’ve improved when I come back this January after two long years away from “Mera bharat mahaan!!”
Spikey, wot say u go to Mizoram and train up some promising young un’s???
