IITK to conduct workshop on Aizawl Master plan

This is an interesting and welcoming news. Finally, a master plan for Aizawl?

Aizawl Development Authority and Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur West Bengal is going to conduct a one day workshop on the Aizawl Master Plan on April 16 at Information & Public Relation Auditorium. Chief Minister and chairman of Aizawl Development Auithority Chairman Zoramthanga will inaugurate the workshop. Nine experts from Kharagpur, one representative from village councils within Aizawl City and various concerned departments and eight MLAs from constituencies within Aizawl will attend the workshop.

Kan Zawlkhopui hi a tawt lutuk tawh a, IIT tan pawh tih ngaihna a awm lo. That is unless we have a leader who is bold enough to tear down illegal structures and reclaim all public lands usurped by people living near roads overthe decades.

But even small steps like permitting people to buy cars only if they have parking space at their home, will go a long way to solve traffic congestion in future.
