New Delhi will host a grand prix in 2009 after the Indian Olympic Association announced a preliminary deal with with formula one boss Bernie Ecclestone.
We have received a letter in this regard from Bernie Ecclestone. The IOA will be the promoter and the first event will be held in 2009,” he said. “Once we move ahead (put all aspects in place), a regular contract would be signed.
