The war of browsers

This time it is not between Netscape and Microsoft. The bad boys are irctc.co.in and Jack Lewis.

Jack Lewis blocks users of Firefox (Techcrunch) because he does not like ad-blocking extension of Firefox. Firefox users are redirected to this page. He argues “Software that blocks all advertisement is an infringement of the rights of web site owners and developers”.

The folks are ILUGC are trying to tell IRCTC that their website works only with IE. This is really bad because people using Linux cannot legally access the website. I had issue with the earlier website for Air Deccan.

One wrote to care at irctc.co.in, and they replied:
