In December 2006, there was a news that Mizoram will get the first toy train in the North East. It was said the train will run at Seswang area at CTI complex. Read the news here.
What of this toy train plan at Sesawng? Had it been slammed?
The news today is Arunachal will, (not Mizoram) have it.
Arunachal Pradesh, incidentally, has been the most vociferous among the northeastern states for railway connectivity. Mizoram too had pushed for a toy train project near Aizawl a couple of years back, but the idea lost steam midway.
