Bangalore Times (TOI’s supplementary) has a story on Bangalore Mizo Community. The article quotes Pu PC Laduhawma (BMA) and Madawnga (BMA Secretary) on the Mizo Church and community activities such as Vangpui Kut.
So turn to Page 9 and look for “A little corner of Mizoram”. It has the tagline “Mizos feel at home in Bangalore thanks to a Mizo community in the heart of the city” set on top of Wesley Church picture.

Just click on the article for a more readable text. I hope this would at the least create an awareness among TOI readers that there exists a state called Mizoram.

Extract from the last para: “….We celebrate BMA Day on January 4 every year with programmes such as debates and singing competitions…”
We celebrate BMA day on January 1 of every year, that’s why BMCF don’t have a function/program on this day.
