I know a lot of us have lots of things to complain about our society but we hardly do anything about it, here’s a chance to work with an international NGO ADRA on a Project funded by Echo for Mautam.

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) India is an independent development and relief agency, engaging in sustainable development and disaster response programs for economically deprived and socially marginalized people in India since 1992. For details visit us at www.adraindia.org

ADRA India is going to implement eleven (11) months project titled, “MIZOFAM” Project. The project is supported by the European Commission – Directorate General for Humanitarian Aid (ECHO). The project will be implemented in two districts (Mamit & Lunglei) in the state of Mizoram.

Applications are invited for the below mentioned post. The appointment is on contract basis for a period of 11 months. The appointment starts immediately.

1.	Project Manager	1 post-Full Time	Master Degree in Management, Social work, development studies or any other relevant experience.	Minimum 5-6 years of experience in the area of food security management, project management, disaster management etc. Professionals with strong management skills & working experience with ECHO, EC Or International agency will be preferred.
2.	District Coordinators	2 post-Full Time	Master Degree in Management, Social work, development studies or any other relevant experience.	Minimum 3-4 years of experience in the area of food security management, project management, disaster management etc. Professionals with strong coordination & logistics skills will be required. Strong Problem solving skills.
2.	Technical Specialist (Agriculture)	1 post -Full time	Master Degree in Agricultural sciences or any Agriculture related discipline.	Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in the areas of agro-product management, food supply chain management & procurement. Strong training & facilitation skills. Understanding/knowledge of local agriculture scenario is highly desirable.
3.	M & E Officer	1 post- Full time	Masters degree in Social Sciences, social work, Rural Management/ Development.	Minimum of 3-5 years of experience, having at-least 2-4 years of experience in the area of Monitoring & Evaluation management. Excellent written & oral communication is highly desirable. Documentation skills are a must.
4.	Accounts Officer	1 post -full time	BBA/B.COM/M.Com/PG (Finance)	Minimum of 3-5 yrs of experience. Understanding of the local laws on Income tax, VAT, TDS, FCRA, & other applicable local laws will be added advantage. Experience with ECHO will be given first preference.
5.	Admin Assistant	1 post- full time	BBA/B.COM	Minimum of 2-3 Yrs of experience in handling Admin function in the NGO sector/private setting
6.	Field Implementation Officer	10 post-Full Time	Graduate in any discipline	Minimum at least 2 years of experience in any area. Preference will be given to candidate with NGO experience. Experience in food security/agriculture will be an advantage.

Contract Period: Starting from August, 2008 up to July 31, 2009.

Computer Knowledge: Knowledge of working computer is essential for all positions EXCEPT for position in serial No. 06.

Mode of selection: Interview and written test may be required for select positions.

Language requirement: All the positions require fluency in English and Mizo both oral & written EXCEPT for position in serial No. 06 ( only Mizo is required)
