Bangalore: The government has decided to keep BJP MP H T Sangliana under watch as it has found some of his statements to be provocative.
Chief minister B S Yeddyurappa told reporters here on Monday that an emergency cabinet meeting had decided that the president of the evangelical trust New Life S V Samuel and its patron Sangliana would be kept under watch. “They have said that their stay in Karnataka is threatened by the CM. These two are found to be making provocative statements. Also, they have admitted their trust gets funds from the Gulf,’’ he said. Denying the charges, Sangliana wanted to know under what law the CM would issue such an order. TNN
