According to official sources in Mizoram, infiltration of illegal migrants from both Bangladesh and Myanmar has now become a serious issue and would pose a “grave threat” to the country in the near future.
As per an intelligence estimate, such migrants have managed to sneak into Mizoram for a livelihood, not only across the state’s border with Bangladesh, but also through the Barak valley districts of Cachar and Karimganj. The estimate has currently put the number of such alleged aliens in Mizoram at 10000.

The number given here is far lesser than the actual number of immigrants. What is the source? There must be atleast more than One Lakh(100000) immigrants.. At this rate, Mizoram will be trampled by the growing size of the migrant population!
On top of it, looks like most of our politicians are acting according to the whims and fancies of these immigrants, so that they would vote for them in the elections!
