Football Transfer Deadline

For all you EPL fanatics out there, this is one page you should leave open the entire day.

You get minute by minute update (the page automatically refreshes) of all the transfer rumors, transfer deals, transfer attempts, transfer rejections etc currently going on. As most of you will know, the transfer window for EPL closes today at 1700 GMT (that is 10:30 pm here in India) so expect a lot of frantic deals and surprise hostile deals etc. I’ve been staring at the screen since morning and there’s been quite a number of shockers. Even the rumors are entertaining.

In: Aston Villa (J Collins), Bolton (Klasnic), Everton (Heitinga), Hull (Sonko), Portsmouth (Ben-Haim*, Williamson, Yebda), Stoke (D Collins)

Out: Manchester City (Ben-Haim*), Stoke (Sonko), Sunderland (D Collins, C Edwards, G Leadbitter), West Ham (J Collins)

*Ben-Haim depends on if he gets a work permit or not.

1706: DONE DEAL: Tottenham have signed Croatian midfielder Niko Kranjcar from Portsmouth. “We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Portsmouth for the transfer of Kranjcar, following the player successfully completing a medical examination and agreeing personal terms,” said a Spurs statement.

1727: DONE DEAL Birmingham have left it late to swoop for Sunderland’s Teemu Tainio, the versatile midfielder joining on a season-long loan deal.
