The Gauhati High Court ordered a probe into the alleged disproportionate assets of former Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga following a PIL submitted by Prism. ‘The court asked the state Anti-Corruption Bureau to complete its probe within four months from the date of issuance of the order.

Pu Vanlalruata (PRISM president) alleged that during his tenure as the agriculture minister, Zoramthanga had bought the infamous Aii Puk farm worth Rs 10 lakhs. The Chief Minister claimed that the property was worth Rs 2 lakh, it was learnt.
