Chapter 1

It took me a long time and most of the world to learn what I know about love and fate and the choices we make. But the heart of it came to me in an instant, while I was chained to a wall and being tortured. I realised, somehow, through the screaming in my mind, that even in that shackled helplessness, I was still free: free to hate the men who were torturing me, or to “forgive” them. It doesn’t sound like much, I know. But in the flinch and bite of the chain. when it’s all you’ve got, that freedom is a universe of possibility. And the choice you make, between hating and forgiving, can become the story of your live.

I have little faith in forgiveness, at least in my ability to give it. I mean human forgiveness, not the divine type. we say we forgive but most of the time it seems like we don’t really…

No on has the right to forgive anyone-including me….

Chained? tortured? shackled? Ermmm BW maybe that bus trip took too much out of you, seems to me here like you just flipped your wig

Or are these the lyrics of some angst-filled heavy metal song since it’s in the movies and videos dept?

When I first read the “J, 36+12+10+10=68″ part, I was like, OH MY GOD, is BW trying to get himself killed???? But then I read the hrs after that and realised he was only talking about the duration of his travel time… phew…
