I was chatting with ammi this evening. As usual I asked “What are you gonna cook this evening?” She replied “Vawksa leh Mautui”. I asked her for her secret recipe. Then she said “phuah chop mai mai alom”. I argued that all other dishes are “phuah chop” too. Here it goes…(it will make your mouth water)
* Mautuai tin
* Pork half kg skinless
* Boil the pork
* A hmin hunah mo…
( I never link the skin anyway…I interrupted)
* Sin te te hi chan ila
* Maituai nen mix ila
* With fish sauce
* Tomatoes,onion n coriender leaves nen
* After u mixed everything
* Rei lo te chhuang la
*5 mins
*Ei theih ni mai
*yummy……
I am gonna try this weekend. I have actually retired from cooking. This being so tempting is gonna make me cook this weekend. Thanks ammi. If mautui tin is not available, I think mushroom is a good alternative.

professional line? Wow! What is stopping you from posting your recipe I am mostly interested in dishes that can be cooked out of stuff you would normally find in a modern Mizo kitchen, items you would find in the neighborhood grocery store or at least big chain store like Food World.

Tih hohna a awm lo. Every comment under this topic has been very much topic/thread related. Perhaps yours is the only one (new thread under the topic) that isn’t :-).
Now, this is serious. I really don’t want to hear this HO. If you don’t find the discussion interesting, don’t joint. If you really have suggestion for the site, use proper channel.

Thank you guys, I appreciated it, it’s more of a passion than work, i enjoyed every minute of it, It’s a fine dining one where we served an international food except Indian n Japanese , so its pretty interesting. I am sorry i do have a limited knowledge of how to post a topic. So thats my bad. I think good food is one of life’s greatest pleasure.
