What would you like to do in life? What say search engines?

October 27th, 2006 5:27 am by TheHumanBot

Lately, this question really bothered me.I asked a hell lot of people, in person, email, chat and sms. Many don’t get it. Those who do mostly tells me “I am yet to figure out”. The rounds of questions asked to many people led me to the buying of The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren more than about two weeks ago.

A little while ago I decided to ask the search engines. Google and Ask comes with the most interesting first link, Yahoo the most deadly.

Just gotta butt in here with one of my favourite quotes on life….a John Lennon quote, no less…

“Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans”

I like that. A friend and ex-roomate (not gay)who collects quotations messaged me that. Wait a minute.. I believe I have heard that in a movie dialogue too.

What would you like to do in life? My answer would be many things..Watch atleast one Football World Cup match, watch one Formula 1 racing, see the northern lights etc. but if you are asking What I am gonna do with my life? Then My answers would have been different..

Goals are important in life..according to Paulo Cohelo (The Alchemist), the greatest obligation for a man is to realise his dreams (goals) and pursue it..
but then more than half of us are confused with what we really want to do in life..maybe its because we do not listen to our heart enough or care too much about what others will think..If we seek a perfect goal then we are most likely to postpone our decission..

Me…if I had my way, I’d love to eat, watch, read, do all the things I enjoy with just a hint of work thrown in to keep the guilt, boredom away…

    Not gonna happen:p

Yea. That is also the purpose of the post. I ask why the preachers I have seen never preach about this.
