The perfect CV is the one that results in the interview that you want and, while it may be perfect for the job that you target tomorrow.Every job has its own unique requirements and every applicant is equally unique. The trick to the perfect CV is to match your uniqueness to that of the role you target.
NB : you can visit the site https://www.prospects.ac.uk/ How to plan your career or How to find the right employer, especially if you are in UK.
I got a sample of CV.
1.Name:
Address:
Post code/Pin No:
Telephone:
Mobile:
E-mail:
2.PERSONAL PROFILE/CAREER OBJECTIVE
This should be a short (3 or 4 lines) summary of your main “selling”points. It should cover thequestion ‘who am i?,Where am i going?’with a brief summary of relevant areas of your career and key skills.
3.EDUCATION
Dates:Names of Institution,Location
Qualifications-Higher Education / Secondary Education
-Include brief details of course, modules, projects, dissertation topic and areas of special interest.
4.EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE
Dates:Job Title, Name & Location of Employer
-Include main responsibilities and emphasize skills used and developed with relevant experience.
-Temporary jobs of a similar nature may be grouped together to avoid duplication and save space.
Dates: You can include all work and work experience and voluntary work
-Remember that you are selecting the entries and you leave out those that you feel are not relevant.
-However,remember that even the simplest job can demonstrate useful skills.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Is there anything that you wish to mention that may help sell your skills and give an insight into your motivation?
5.SKILLS PROFILE
These should match the criteria of the job,ie

(always reinforce with example)
INTERESTS
Often we develop skills to a high level through our interests but may forget their applicability to our working life.
Avoid ‘one word’ descriptions and be prepared to discuss at interview.

If I may add my 2 bits:
– Leave out points nos. 2 and 6 since interviewers are not too interested in this.
– At junior levels, show that you have the skills for the job. At middle and senior levels, it is assumed that you have developed the skills during your experience – hence, emphasise more on your achievements and show why you are good for the job.
– w.r.t. interests, let them know you have hobbies or that you play sports, since most recruiters go with the adage that ‘all work and no play makes jack a dull boy’.

I say just keep it simple but make sure whatever information you need to provide is there.
HR’s not interested in your DOB, father’s name, passport no at the time of interview, so don’t include that. I see many who does.

My point is don’t write career objective for the sake of it.

My take is, objectives are fine as far as freshers are concerned. I removed the objective section in my CV a long2 time ago!
