Chef making mosala dosai at the river island resort .
The first time I ever heard of Dosa was in 4th std. There was this lesson “The Weeping Princess”. It was about stamp collection. In the story they had dosa for breakfast. Our teacher Mrs Lasker explained “It’s a South Indian Food”. That was 1992.
For the first time in my life, I had dosa at a restaurant in Police Bazaar, Shillong. That was December of 1995.
Years later, since 1998, it has become a part of a regular food item for me. Till today.
