Colleges in Bangalore

May 4th, 2007 11:20 pm by SiLent_Man

Heard from a cousin that some colleges from Bangalore are offering on-the-spot admission in Aizawl. Curious to know if these colleges are of good repute or just after students (money) becuase they can’t get them the proper way. In a way, very convenient to get admission without having to travel all the way to Bangalore. Then… there’s that thing…

Some of them are:

Garden City College,
Radiance College,
RK Institute of management,
Acharya Institute

Garden City College has the highest fees, I’m told, at some 60 thousand for admission and some 10 thousand every 6 months, hostel fees extra.

Last day for admission, they say, is tommorrow i.e. 5th May.

So, if those of you who had been here in Bangalore longer than the rest of us, would be great if you can give your input.

massage & rejuvenate ur thought process, microdermabrasion of ur outlook, ‘nip-n-tuck’ ur mental excess baggage, ‘file-n-buff’ ur

with all due respect……. i believe good colleges don’t have to come looking for students .. Chennai and Hyderabad would be the best place … well thats how me thinks anyway … most colleges now have their applications available for download and u can still “Apply” from Aizawl so check if if the college your applying’s on the web and make sure your here at least by the end of may ( for south India ) check out the college , talk with some staff or students and get some legit feedback … you cant judge any college from what ppl say or their ranking make sure it has what you want in a college ( make sure you check the labs too the prospectus is MADE to look good) . See it with your own eyes hear it with your own ears it’ll save you some years.

@ ami watch where u point them fingers me thinks you just had u ginger in zwinkysEvEn’s eye lolz me thinks quality educations has nothing to do with books and i dont believe that you can weigh a student’s brain by exams what would you do if u’r made to write all that you have learned over the year in 3 hrs with no question paper ? when ppl “study” for exams they study “important” questions … well ya better study for life thats how me thinks anyway just dont want ny one to go through what i did and be bitter l8er. cheers! got sumthing comming form b’lore and he’s not lobbying for some college hahha

Garden City is quite a good college but the quality doesn’t match the fees, in my opinion. I’ve heard the name of Acharya Institute but got no idea how the college is. The other two, well… never heard of them.

Silent_Man called me last night before this is published. He requested this be published quick so as to get more replies. I see that happening Thanks for contributing ideas.

It know it wouldbn’t be bad but I had my impression on Garden City long ago after seeing their ad o many magazines. Why would a college need to do so many ad on magazine?

SilenL_Man’s relation’s situation is also understandable. Since they student had not done so well, if admission can done in Aizawl, it’s a great relief. That is given that college chosen isn’t a complete crap.
